There is something so wise and healing about her energy.
I learned how to organize my thoughts and obstacles in such a natural way- it was as if I was doing the work all by myself but with Kari's guidance.

“Kari taught me how to take my knowledge and skills and apply them to my daily life in ways that I have stuck with me"
- T.H.
“As a student with accessibility needs, I struggle to keep up up. Kari empowered me to explore different techniques as well as incorporating more breaks, rest, and play within my work. This mindful approach to academia is something I've never done before. Today, I feel so much more balanced and at ease and I'm still receiving high grades.”
My work as a health coach has its roots in the first yoga class I ever took, in NYC in the spring of 2001. Yoga shifted how I lived, breathed, ate, slept, and managed stress. I became a better version of myself. Through mindfulness I found balance, and inner peace that has seen me through the journeys of my life since then.
I have called 3 cities and two countries home, enjoyed different careers, raised two sons, experienced injuries, illness, and the challenges that come with being alive. Along the way I have learned that change is often daunting and stressful, but change is also where we grow. Allowing ourselves to change is essential to our thriving.
My clients share a desire to step out of what is holding them back and live authentically and fully. Navigating career, relationship, family, or health challenges require us to change. That is where I come in - supporting you as you build what comes next.
Come as you are. In my practice there are no bad questions, mistakes, or wrong answers, only growth. I use evidence-based approaches that are designed to support your success.
I love watching my clients find renewed purpose, health, and wholeness. Your thriving is my primary goal. Lets get started!

Small changes can have a ripple effect across relationships, daily habits, or a health diagnosis.
We will work together to build new habits that meet the needs of your changing body, a diagnosis, or a life shift such as a career change, parenting, menopause, or pregnancy. I also work with teens and young adults as they learn to the pressures and demands of moving in to adulthood.
Change can feel scary, especially when faced with uncertainty, or a lack of control. Something I have learned, is that big problems often have surprisingly simple solutions. That is the heart of coaching - simple solutions that bring the relief you are seeking.
Great question!
Coaching is not therapy even though parts of our work may overlap.
Therapy focuses on understanding how the present is informed by the past. Coaching helps you get from the present to the future that you want. Coaching is forward looknig and action oriented.
Both are helpful and in different ways.
Yes! As long as you have a stable internet connection and access to a phone, computer, or tablet, we can work together. It helps to log in from a private or quiet place so we can maximize our time together.
I am based in California and will do my best to work with you, to find times to meet that suit our time zone needs.
Coaching WORKS because we use evidence based skills to support lasting and successful behavior change.
You have come to the right place. We will t fine tune your goals, address your challenges, identify your strengths, and then get to work on making change happen in achievable and realistic ways.
Have faith in yourself and get ready to be surprised by what you can achieve!
